How It Works | Essential Message Licensing and Certification Membership Program

The training program consists of 4 levels, each with a different area of focus and a different set of Essential Message tools. After you complete each level, you earn the designation of Licensed Facilitator for that level, and you have the rights to use the related Essential Message tools with with your clients.

When you complete all 4 levels, you earn the Certified Facilitator designation. By the end of the program, you can expect to be at a level of proficiency that will enable you to:

  • Coach private clients effectively and confidently using Essential Message tools and processes.
  • Give public Essential Message presentations and workshops
  • Put your business into overdrive!

You do not have to commit to completing all four levels. You can choose how far you want to go in the program and be licensed for the tools for the training you complete.  For example, you can complete Level 1, and then pick additional training for Level 2 the next time we run a session. We run at least 2 complete training programs per year, so you have a lot of flexibility.

Here’s what you’ll cover in the Essential Message Licensing and Certification Membership Program:

Level 1: Awareness

Level 1 is all about bringing Awareness to your clients. You learn how to help them see what they cannot see, and hear what they cannot hear. Level 1 allows your clients to understand what is and what is not working, especially with respect to their sales communications, branding, core strengths, and of course, Essential Message.

This is a critical step in consulting, coaching or any service-based business, as it gives your clients their own reasons to be fully engaged in the process.

You’ll learn:

  • The best ground rules to set yourself and your clients up for success.
  • The Essential Message Positioning Model.
  • Impact Statements, Persuasion Drivers & Provocative Questions.
  • Category Challenges vs Essential Challenges.
  • How to monetize your Essential Message level 1 training.

Level 1 length:

  • One month

Includes:

  • Two, 2-hour live training sessions plus homework
  • One, mid-training 1-hour Level 1 Mastermind Call

Designation upon completion:

  • Essential Message Level 1 Licensed Facilitator

Essential Message tools & intellectual property you are licensed to use with clients:

  • Everything Starts With A Conversation Workbook and Workshop

Pricing & Terms:

  • One-time payment of $300 USD, payable prior to the start of your Level 1 training session
  • $47/month USD monthly membership & licensing fee, charged automatically for a 12 month term (term starts on the first day of your Level 1 training program, and ends 12 months after that)
  • You may choose to continue on to Level 2 training and licensing/membership after your Level 1 training is complete, or stay on as an EM Level 1 Licensed Facilitator until the next round of Level 2 training (or indefinitely, if you prefer…it’s up to you!)

Level 2: Dig Deeper

In Level 2, you learn how to Dig Deeper to uncover the core of your client’s Essential Message. For many people, this is the heart of the Essential Message process. The extremely powerful tools you learn to use in this level help you access a deeper understanding of underlying strengths and values, or subconscious methodology. They help you bring to the surface previously hidden value and identify truly fresh insights that your clients want. What’s more, they can be applied to almost any consulting, coaching or copywriting engagement, whether your objective is to highlight competitive advantage in a business environment, or drive personal transformation at the individual level.

You’ll learn:

  • The five layers of differentiation
  • How to leverage the perception of the stereotype to identify differentiators
  • How to turn personal frustrations into differentiating insights
  • How to uncover the root of your client’s worldview to understand his/her unique approach or methodology
  • How to monetize your Essential Message level 2 training.

Level 2 length:

  • one month

Prerequisite:

  • Completion of Level 1

Includes:

  • Two, 2-hour live training sessions plus homework
  • One, mid-training 1-hour Level 1 Mastermind Call

Designation upon completion:

  • Essential Message Level 2 Licensed Facilitator

  • $67/month USD monthly membership & licensing fee, charged automatically for a 12 month term (term starts on the first day of your Level 2 training program, and ends 12 months after that)
  • You may choose to continue on to Level 3 training and licensing/membership after your Level 2 training is complete, or stay on as an EM Level 2 Licensed Facilitator until the next round of Level 3 training (or indefinitely, if you prefer…it’s up to you!)

Level 3: Powerful Communications

In Level 3, we learn how to reframe the Essential Message from the listener’s point of view. This is the basis of all Powerful Communications. It pulls together core concepts of NLP (neuro-linguistic training), direct response marketing, copywriting and effective sales communications.

You’ll learn:

  • How to define, identify and attract the best client, (which may not be the same as your ideal client!)
  • How to communicate differently according to the different needs and interests of different client groups.
  • How to write a powerful and compelling sales letter in 3-minutes.
  • How to solicit and write testimonials that serve the client as much as they serve the service provider.
  • How to monetize your Essential Message training.

Includes:

  • Two, 2-hour live training sessions plus homework
  • One, mid-training 1-hour Level 1 Mastermind Call

Time to complete Level 3:

  • one month

Prerequisite:

  • Completion of Level 2

  • You may choose to continue on to Level 4 training and licensing/membership after your Level 3 training is complete, or stay on as an EM Level 3 Licensed Facilitator until the next round of Certification Level training (or indefinitely, if you prefer…it’s up to you!)

Certification Level: Focus

The Certification Level is about Focus — helping your clients commit to a powerful and differentiating core brand position and course of action. Certification is the final piece of the puzzle that takes you from licensed facilitator to certified facilitator. It pulls together everything you’ve learned into a clear, concise and powerful platform for success.

You’ll learn:

  • How to write a positioning statement that also serves as a mission statement and positive affirmation.
  • How to identify the top five Provocative Questions that attract clients.
  • The basic template for a complete Essential Message business card.
  • How to monetize your Essential Message training.

Includes:

  • Two, 2-hour live training sessions plus homework
  • One, mid-training 1-hour Level 1 Mastermind Call

Time to complete Level 4:

  • one month

Prerequisite:

  • Completion of Level 3

Designation upon completion:

  • Essential Message Certified Facilitator

  • After your 12 month term is up, you may renew your licensing and membership for another 12 month term.
