What’s your story?
Everyone loves a good story. Why? Because stories communicate ideas and information as no other medium can. Stories connect emotionally and intellectually, and appeal to listeners of all learning styles.
Doug Stevenson’s Story Theater Method is an innovative way to use stories in presentations to motivate, persuade or teach your audience — whether you are speaking to or training a group, coaching a client, having a sales conversation with a prospect, or giving a toast at a wedding! By combining story structure with comedy, drama, acting performance techniques and branding, his method results in stories that are more entertaining, effective, experiential and memorable.
In this fun, interactive teleclass, Doug reveals how specific crafting and performance techniques can transform any story from ordinary to effective. He shows you how to implement these techniques to improve your story’s impact, and become more engaging and confident.
You’ll learn how to:
- Identify and choose stories for training
- Craft stories using The Nine Steps of Story Structure
- Captivate attention by delivering stories in an engaging way
- Stimulate emotional triggers, and activate the listener’s imagination for greater retention of important data and information
- Brand your learning point to make it memorable
If you want to be more engaging and entertaining while sharing your powerful lessons and strategic learning points with your audiences, clients, or employees, then don’t miss this teleclass!
Can’t make the live call?
No problem. Like all of our teleclasses, a recording of this session will be sent to you a day or two after the teleclass. Plus, the recording will be added to the Members Audio Library (along with recordings of teleclasses going back to 2005) as an added value for Essential Message members!
